About Yoga Poses & Exercises

What are Supine Positions?

A supine position requires that you lie on your back on the floor, with your face and chest pointed upward. Supine positions are common in strength training and in yoga, and are ideal if you are undergoing physical therapy and rehabilitation due to back problems. The position spares the back from excess strain that is placed on the body during weight-bearing exercises.
