ADHD Developmental Checklist

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, is a common neurobehavioral disorder that is diagnosed in approximately 5 percent of school-aged children. According to the Diagnostic & Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders, or DSM-IV, there are three different subtypes tha fall under this general condition. These include patients that suffer from hyperactivity or inattentiveness. Some patients are a combination of these two types and have symptoms of both inattentiveness and hyperactivity.
