How to Use Arjuna

Arjuna is an herb taken from the arjuna tree and is used to treat several problems, including cardiac debility, bleeding skin, diarrhea and acne. It can be taken internally as well as externally, either as a topical application, capsules or tea. A medicinal wine is also made from arjuna and other ingredients to treat a number of problems. Step 1

Step 2

Evenly mix ground arjuna bark and honey together, then apply it to your skin to treat and remedy acne.

Step 3

Take 2 to 4 tsp. twice daily of arjunarista, a wine made from arjuna bark, dhataki and manuka black raisins, as a way to treat cardiac problems, bleeding piles and diarrhea.

Step 4

Mix 1 tsp. arjuna bark powder into hot water and drink as a tea to treat asthma, according to ayurvediccure.com. Take this treatment whenever an asthma attack occurs.
