People always seems to be pressed for time, especially when exercising is involved. However, several exercises are available to tone the lower bodies of the people short on time. Besides trimming the waistline, toning the lower body is a top priority for fitness lovers. From lunges to squats, there are quick but efficient exercises to help you tone your thighs and butt.
Bulgarian Split Squat
Place your back foot on a bench with the other leg in front of you. Bend until your thigh is parallel with the floor. Continue this motion 10 times. Repeat the same cycle on the opposite leg 10 times. Do two more sets. This exercise can also be completed while holding dumbbells at your sides.
Step Up
Stand behind a bench and place one foot on top of the bench. Push up off of the box and bring your other leg to your chest. Lower your foot back to the ground and continue the motion in a quick manner. Complete 10 times and switch to the other leg. Complete for two more sets. This exercise can also be completed while holding dumbbells by your sides.
Walking Lunges
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and lunge forward with one leg. Bring the opposite leg forward. Lunge forward with the opposite leg. Only pause for a second between lunges. Complete 15 walking lunges on each leg. Rest for one minute. Complete two more sets. This exercise can also be completed while holding dumbbells at your sides.
