Jump Rope
Inexpensive jump ropes can be found at almost any general discount or retail store. You do not have to invest in the expensive ones found in the exercise equipment sections or online. The cheap ropes found in the children's toy section will work just as well. Jumping rope increases your heart rate and gets you into the fat-burning zone, as it is a cardio exercise. Since cardio is needed to lose weight, you can do this exercise to burn calories without much of a cost to you.

The market is full of exercise videos. While some programs are expensive and cost hundreds of dollars, there are many that are inexpensive. These videos can be found at your local discount retailer or online. Most of the videos found at the large discount retail stores are under $20. The videos range from cardio, toning and yoga to Pilates, boxing and dancing. The advantages of using these videos are that they are inexpensive and offer the comfort and privacy of exercising in your own home. They serve their purpose as long as you are diligent in actually using the video. With these videos, you can make working out a family affair.
