It's easy for people who work out to neglect their face. However, facial exercises are easy, can be performed in your home, car or office, and will tone muscles and firm up the skin, according to CareFair.com. A few exercises done daily can help prevent tired, sagging skin, infuse the face with a healthy glow and reduce wrinkles, sagging jowls and double chins. The next time you work out, don't forget to spend a few minutes on your face.

Chin Lifts

To avoid developing a double chin or to help you get rid of one, try exercises that focus on this area of the neck, suggests CareFair. Lie on the floor or your bed with your head hanging over the side. Slowly lift the chin upward, bringing the chin as close to the chest as you can. Hold for a second or two, then slowly lower back down. You can do this exercise five to 10 times to start, increasing up to 50 as your neck muscles grow stronger.

Lion's Pose

To work all the muscles of the face, infuse the muscles and skin with oxygen-rich blood and to keep wrinkles at bay, try what is commonly called the lion's pose from yoga. Sit or standing, open your eyes and mouth as wide as you can. Stick your tongue out, trying to touch the tongue to the chin. Count to 10.

Forehead Exercise

Tone the muscles of the forehead, release tension and reduce the appearance of wrinkles by performing this exercise. Place the index finger of each hand about 1/2-inch above the eyebrows. Try to lift the eyebrows upward while pressing downward with the index fingers, suggests Face-Wrinkles Organization. You can do this five to 10 times to start.

Cheek Firming

Keep the cheeks fresh and youthful looking by exercising them every day. Place the index, middle and ring finger of each hand on each of your cheeks, suggests Fitness Health Zone. Pull slightly downward. While pulling gently downward, try to smile. This isn't as easy as it might seem. You'll really feel the pull throughout the cheek and jaw, offering an effective toning exercise for the entire lower portion of the face.

Firm Lips

Keep your lips looking firm and reduce lines around the lips by sticking your thumb or other finger in your mouth and suck on it hard, suggests Fitness Health Zone. While sucking inward, try to gently but firmly pull the finger out of the mouth. Do this about 10 times.
