2. Stay Hydrated
Drinking plenty of fluids in addition to the diet shakes is necessary on the HMR diet program. The diet program allows you to drink non-carbonated, calorie-free or low-calorie drinks that don't contain caffeine. HMR professionals recommend that you drink water most of the time to stay hydrated, which allows your body to function at its optimal level. Dehydration slows your metabolism, which makes it harder to lose weight, and makes you feel sluggish and tired.
3. Keep Moving
The HMR diet program emphasizes following a healthy lifestyle. This includes exercising. When you begin program, you'll receive a guide that includes suggested exercise activities. If you don't follow a regular exercise regimen, the weight will come off more slowly. The program doesn't have to be rigorous. Light aerobics, weigh training or power walking will suffice. Clear any exercise program with your doctor before starting.
