Breakdown of Muscle Tissue

Symptoms of rhabdomyolosis include unexplained muscle pain or tenderness, muscle weakness, flu-like symptoms, and dark-colored urine, according to Drugs.com. Abdominal Pain, Nausea and Heartburn
You may experience adverse gastrointestinal side effects while taking Lipitor. These effects may diminish over time as your body adjusts to this medication. Eating a bland diet and smaller, more frequent meals may help alleviate gastrointestinal discomfort. You may experience heartburn while taking Lipitor. Liver Problems
