Physical activity and stretching among older adults improves health and increases range of motion. Yoga stretching and relaxation exercises provide health benefits such as improved joint mobility and flexibility, arthritis pain relief, increased blood flow and strengthening of muscles. Seniors who are unable to take yoga classes can reap the benefits of stretching at home using yoga exercise videos.
