If you have wrinkles and fine lines, you may want to try products to achieve smooth skin before spending the money on expensive dermatological procedures. The earlier you start using products to improve the skin, the less likely you are to develop premature wrinkles. Besides product use, avoid exposure to the sun and smoking to keep your skin silky smooth.

Biore Dual Fusion Moisturizer plus SPF 30

According to CBS News, if women wish to keep their faces smooth as they age, they need a moisturizer with built-in sun protection. The product they suggest to achieve this is Biore Dual Fusion Moisturizer plus SPF 30. One chamber of the solution contains the moisturizer while the other contains the sunblock. Active ingredients include zinc oxide and octinoxate. Apply in the morning before exposure to the sun. You can reapply as needed over the course of the day.

DDF Wrinkle Relax

This product is recommended by Redbook for women looking to achieve younger and smoother skin. It contains argireline, nicknamed "topical Botox." The ingredient over time is meant to affect muscle contractions to give you a smoother look. The cream includes a face chart to display where the muscles are located in the face. Use the chart as reference as you massage the cream into the face. A thin coat should be applied to the skin after it has been cleansed and dried. Repeat twice a day.

RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream

If you are over the age of 50, you may need a retinol-based skin care product to combat wrinkles and keep your skin smooth. CBS News recommends RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. It contains shea butter along with retinol to moisturize the skin while also building up collagen and fading fine lines. It is labeled non-comedogenic, oil free and hypoallergenic. On a nightly basis, apply the cream to the neck and face after you have washed and dried the skin. Since this product can cause skin sensitivity, remember to wear sunscreen while outdoors.
