Tony Horton is the name behind several popular workout DVDs. According to his Facebook profile, he has expertise in weight training, interval training and stretching. He used his experience and knowledge to create several workout programs using common exercises. He combines weight training, interval training and nutrition to help thousands of people reach weight loss goals each year. The exercises featured are not Horton's creations. Expect to find squats, lunges, bicep curls and more in each DVD set.

P90X

The most notable Tony Horton exercise routine is called P90X. It promises to get you ripped with a 90-day program that features 12 workouts and a three-phase nutritional plan. Horton's program design features weight training exercises such as push-ups and pull-ups, at-home cardio routines, abdominal exercises and stretch routines including yoga poses. The program does require the use of equipment such as a pull-up bar, free weights and resistance bands.

One-on-One Workout

Horton's one-on-one workout is different from his other DVDs programs. Rather than receive the entire workout DVD set at once, you receive one DVD each month. On the One-on One Web page, a clip taken from volume 2, disc 10, shows Horton attempting 100 jump rope sets, 30 crunches and 20 push-ups. The challenge is to do all of the exercises consecutively without a mistake.

Tony Horton's 10-Minute Trainer

Horton's biography reports that the 10-Minute Trainer was brought to life after a colleague suggested he try to reach individuals who think they are too busy to exercise. Horton's 10-Minute Trainer stacks cardio and strength training exercises together to maximize time. The goal is to burn calories and work several muscles at once. His 10-minute trainer features four workout DVDs, workout tools, including a calendar and resistance band, a bonus abs DVD, workout cards and online support.
