The Nasal-Aire II Prong CPAP mask is a new CPAP device manufactured by InnoMed and released in 2009. The mask is particularly suited for individuals who regularly change positions while they sleep. Because the device has a built-in swivel, the mask and tubing move with you throughout the night. The mask is easy to clean, easy to assemble and is virtually leak free.

Specifications

The Nasal-Aire II Prong CPAP mask is a nasal prong and rests on the upper lip below the nose. The mask has a replaceable cushion and is designed for small to large facial structures.

Considerations

The mask is well-suited for those suffering from claustrophobia, as it does not cover the face and is also well-suited for individuals with facial hair.

Improvements

The older version of this mask, called the Nasal-Aire, was updated to reflect changes requested by patients using the device. The new and improved mask has quieter exhalation ports and an improved seal around the nasal ports.

Sizes

The Nasal-Aire II is available in sizes A through E, with A being petite and E being extra large. Sizes will fit small children to large adults providing a comfortable, leak-proof seal. Each mask comes with the headgear.

Requirements

CPAP machines and masks are considered medical devices and by federal law can only be obtained by prescription. Numerous medical device companies carry the InnoMed masks.
