Yogurt is the result of fermenting milk with a particular type of bacteria known as Lactobacillus delbrueckii. Frozen yogurt also contains added sugar and milk, giving it a higher sugar and fat content than regular yogurt. Frozen yogurt is a common substitute for ice cream, especially for people who are lactose intolerant.
