Sage Essential Oil
Step 1
Mix 2 ounces of vegetable or canola oil with 12 drops of sage essential oil.
Step 2
Apply the oil to the area where you are experiencing pain or tension using your hands.
Step 3
Rub the mixture into your skin for 5 to 10 minutes with medium pressure. Have someone else perform the massage for you if the pain is in an area you cannot reach, such as your upper back.
Clary Sage Essential Oil
Step 1
Mix 1 ounce of almond oil with 2 drops of clary sage essential oil.
Step 2
Add two to three drops of lavender essential oil. The lavender scent will increase the aromatherapy benefits of the massage oil. Mix the oils together thoroughly.
Step 3
Massage the oil mixture onto your abdomen or wherever you are experiencing pain or tension. Use medium pressure. If you cannot reach the area, have someone perform the massage for you. Perform the massage for at least 5 minutes.
