Like all vinegars, Heinz apple cider vinegar can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The Heinz brand of apple cider vinegar is notable because it is an all-natural product. It has a mild flavor when compared to other types of vinegar and adds a unique flavor component to foods and beverages. According to Heinz, all of its vinegars have an acidity level of 5 percent, which is necessary to prevent bacterial growth when canning and preserving food. The product is also kosher.

Relieve Arthritis Pain

According to Suzanne Jordan, writing for "Farmers' Almanac," you can relieve the stiff joints and pain of arthritis using apple cider vinegar. Try drinking 8 ounces of warm water to which you have added one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar every morning when you wake up.

Lower Blood Pressure

If your blood pressure is too high, consider consuming a mixture of one tablespoon each of apple cider vinegar and honey stirred into a glass of water twice daily, recommends the website Apple-Cider-Vinegar-Benefits. The mixture is rich in potassium and magnesium. If you have high blood pressure, always discuss home remedies with your doctor before use, and never discontinue your medication without consulting your doctor.

Increase Fiber

Apple cider vinegar contains pectin, a type of soluble fiber which may help lower your cholesterol level. The same morning tonic used for arthritis relief---one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in 8 ounces of water---may also help lower your cholesterol. According to the website Apple-Cider-Vinegar-Benefits, the pectin in apple cider vinegar may also help control constipation and diarrhea.

Relieve Acid Reflux

It may seem counter-intuitive, but your acid reflux problems could be caused by too little stomach acid, according to the website Disabled-World. The website recommends taking one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar before meals. Although your symptoms may improve in as few as three days, the website recommends continuing this treatment for a period of three to nine months to completely "cure" acid reflux.
