3. Plan Ahead
The Body for Life Diet program allows you to plan your own meals if you want, by using a list of approved foods. In order to balance your carbs on this diet, you should plan your menu ahead of time so that you can make sure that you get a good balance of carbs when you go grocery shopping. The Body for Life website offers some sample meal plans, along with shopping lists to make learning how to balance the foods on the plan as effectively as possible.
4. Spoil Yourself on the Seventh Day
The seventh day of the week is a free day on the Body for Life Diet. This means that after following the diet for six consecutive days, you can eat anything that you want for one day before starting the diet program again. On the seventh day, you can enjoy sweet carbs such as chocolate cake. It is important to try to eat different types of carbs on your free day. You can use this day to enjoy some of your favorite carbs that didn't make the approved list for the diet. Keep in mind that treating yourself on the free day is a good way to stay motivated on the six diet days.
