Many options exist for people battling this illness that can enhance and bolster the medical treatments they are undergoing--options they can carry out in the comfort of their own home.

Eventually, the body adjusts and will know when it is time to sleep and time to be awake.

Socialization is vital; it prevents isolation, which aggravates the symptoms of depression. Socialize with positive people. Their positivity can overtake the negativity depression causes, provided the person with depression allows it to.
