Do You Have YBS?

In my practice, I’ve discovered there’s a common dis-ease that seems to be running rampant throughout this country. In fact, I think it’s quite possible that it has already reached epidemic proportions. It’s called Y.B.S. and is causing untold misery, pain, and suffering for those afflicted with it.

Please take some time to read through my symptoms checklist in order to determine if you or someone you love is already infected. If so, please don’t give up hope just yet. When properly identified, Y.B.S. can be successfully treated. So listen up. Here are the latest research findings:

Y.B.S., or “Yeah But… Syndrome” as it is otherwise known, involves the unrelenting presentation of an endless list of lame excuses for why an individual cannot, or will not, take responsibility for engaging in any action that has been proven 100% effective or necessary for improving their current set of life circumstances. The “tell tail sign” of any individual who suffers from this dis-ease is that the first words to come out of their mouth in response to any suggestions you might give them for what they can do to improve not only the circumstances, but the overall quality of their lives are: “Yeeaaaah But…”

Other symptoms may include, but are not limited to, the following list of excuses this individual will also provide immediately after you hear the words: “Yeeaaaah But…”

• I just don’t have time…
• I’m too stressed out…
• I can’t do that…
• I tried that before…
• That’s too hard for me…
• That costs a lot of money…
• I’m just not motivated…
• I’m too tired…
• I’ll have to think about that…
• I don’t know…
• Can I get back to you on that one…
• I just don’t feel like it right now…
• I can’t help it…
• It’s not my fault…
• S/he made me do it…
• S/he won’t let me…
• That will never work for me…
• My case is different…
• I don’t care…
• It doesn’t really matter to me…
• That will never work…

If you, or someone you love, presents with one or more of the above symptoms at any given time, you SHOULD be alarmed, but don’t give up hope, just yet. There is a treatment that has been proven to be 100% effective when consistently, applied with dedication, determination, persistence, and a little hard work. It’s a simple solution that goes something like this: JUST DO IT!! Although there are a variety of explanations for why you may or may not be doing something, there are NO excuses! Soooo… SNAP OUT OF IT! You can DOOOOOO IT!!! Go ahead! You’ve got what it takes to LIVE STRONG!
