Fast Ways to Lose Inches

Losing inches from your body and building a stronger physique is a healthy goal that will allow you to live a healthier lifestyle. There are no magic formulas for dropping weight and losing inches. You can reach your goals by doing cardiovascular exercises, strength training and eating healthy foods.

Cardiovascular Conditioning

You can run, swim, walk or bike if you want to get in better cardiovascular condition and drop weight and inches from your body. If you are going to run, make sure you do it for at least 25 minutes at a time to get your heart rate up and to burn calories. Burning calories will help you lose the inches off of your body. You do not have to sprint, but you can't take it easy either. Pump your arms when you run, take off at a good pace and and finish strongly. You can go at a moderate pace in the middle part of your run.

Strength Training

Strength training is an ideal activity for burning fat and getting in better condition. This may result in some muscle building but it will also allow help you drop inches. Using circuit training machines will help you get stronger in your arms, shoulders, chest, back, abs, glutes, hamstring and calf muscles. Getting stronger will also help you when running and you need endurance to finish your route.

Healthy Eating

This is perhaps the most important aspect to dropping inches and weight from your body. Don't eat red meat more than once a week. Substitute white-meat chicken and fish instead. Have two portions of fresh vegetables every day. Eat one portion of fresh fruit as well. Stay away from sugared drinks like soda. Drink water instead. Have at least 64 oz. of water every day. Don't eat the empty calories in desserts. Stay away from sweets when you are trying to pare inches from your body.
