The Wii balance board, originally released with the game "Wii Fit," allows you to control your virtual avatar, or Mii, with your entire body. Look for games with balance board compatibility to get the most out of your Wii accessory.

'EA Sports Active'

"EA Sports Active" features a virtual personal trainer to guide you through customized upper-body, lower-body and cardio routines. Choose your own intensity level, workout time and calorie-burning goals while exercising by yourself or with a friend. While the Wii balance board is not required, having the board increases functionality of many of the exercises.

'Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum'

Maybe you like the convenience of exercising from your living room but the scenery is not so great. "Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum" transports you to a virtual tropical beach to work out with an avatar of host Jillian Michaels of TV's "The Biggest Loser."

'We Ski & Snowboard'

The sequel to "We Ski," "We Ski & Snowboard" features new slopes and a trick fun park to practice flips, jumps and other tricks. The two snowy mountains with 7,000 vertical feed of virtual trails are fully explorable, and you can customize your Mii's style and gear.

'Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll'

Step on the balance board to roll through 70 puzzle levels in single-player or campaign mode. "Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll" also features more than 20 multi-player mini-games, such as Red Light Green Light and Sky Diving.

'Punch-Out'

Revisit the classic arcade game "Punch-Out" in the updated Wii version. All of the original characters from the 1980s arcade enter the ring in 3-D with an added back story. Play "Punch-Out" with a Wii remote and nunchuk, or turn the Wii remote sideways for classic game play. While they are not required, balance boards add a new element of game play with either controller option.
