Overview
Many men question the adequacy of the size of their penis. This is a normal and common feeling, especially if you are not sexually active or are considering becoming sexually active. However, the only functions for a man's penis are sexual pleasure, reproduction and urination, and size does not affect any of these things.
For instance, penis size has little to no relation to sexual pleasure or performance. Performance is about the ability to get and maintain an erection or provide sexual pleasure with or without an erection. For instance, premature ejaculation can occur no matter the size of the man's penis. Performance, then, is not really related to size, but dependent on muscles, blood and nerve supply to the reproductive organs and state of mind.
Ask Your Physician
If you are truly concerned about your penis size, then talk to your health care provider. Everyone develops and goes through puberty at a different rate, but if you are concerned about how quickly you are or aren't growing, or if you notice any problems or unusual developments in or around your penis or testicles, talk to your health care provider.
