Chai tea is a classic Indian beverage that has been used for centuries. It is created by mixing black, green or oolong tea with a variety of herbs and spices. Chai tea is recognized as a healthier alternative to coffee for several reasons. The tea component is rich in antioxidants, the spices have been used for centuries to promote health and well being, and it is much lower in caffeine content than coffee. Cinnamon

Cinnamon is a classic spice component used in chai tea. It contains numerous health benefits such as reducing blood pressure and reducing fevers and body aches due to common cold and flu. Cinnamon also is effective in relieving several digestive issues such as indigestion, nausea, gas, and heartburn.
