It's natural to have fears. Fear is the body's accepted reaction to the unknown. However, when your fear is limiting your everyday routine and keeping you from living your life normally, it's time to take control. Be patient with yourself. It takes time to overcome fears that have been building for a long time. However, if you feel you aren't making progress overcoming your fears, seek the help of a professional.

Understand your Fear

A good start to conquering fear is understanding it. By examining your fears intimately, you will understand their origins, depths and effects. Once you have a thorough understanding of the problem, you can begin your journey to resolve it.

Go Slowly

If your fear is overwhelming you, step away from it for a while. Even a break for a few minutes can help. Find a distraction. Take a walk, listen to some music or spend some time with friends.
