Galardi’s instruction is fairly clear, always starting with moves at half-time before working up to tempo, and she assigns memorable names to each move, allowing you to easily recall what you’re doing next in a sequence. If you have time to do multiple workouts, you can pick and choose your workouts by creating a customized play list.
Goddess Workout uses belly dance to create a low-impact workout that targets your entire body. Instructor Dolphina always remains encouraging. She understands that belly dance movements are foreign to beginners, and she emphasizes that you should do as much as you can without pushing beyond your capabilities. The Dirty Dancing Official Dance Workout provides you with a 70-minute workout focused on recreating the most popular dances from Dirty Dancing. You don’t need a partner to exercise with this DVD, and everything is broken down into manageable chunks, providing great instruction for beginners. An 11-minute intro gets things started, then moves into four routines pulled from the movie. For the more experienced dancers, there are two workouts at the end that are straight workout with no instruction.
