Directions for the Use of an Image 10.0 Treadmill

The Icon Fitness Image 10.0 treadmill is a compact budget treadmill with a smaller than usual 50-inches-by-18-inches running deck. No longer available for retail purchase, it previously retailed for under $500.
Features and specifications of note include a computerized console, push-button speed and incline adjustments with a maximum speed of 10 miles per hour and a maximum incline of 10 percent. The maximum user weight is 250 lbs. The Image 10.0 folds up for easy storage.

Tips and Warnings

  • Make sure your Image 10.0 is plugged into a surge suppressor to protect it from voltage spikes. The Image 10.0 comes with a treadmill key that must be fully inserted into the treadmill console for the machine to run. There's an optional safety clip on the key that you can attach to your waistband so that if you happen to stumble or fall, the clip will pull the key out of the console, stopping the treadmill. If you don't want to use the safety clip, just insert the key in the treadmill console, then wrap the clip lanyard around one of the hand supports to keep it out of your way.
  • Never stand on the treadmill belt as you start the machine; it may move faster or slower than you expect. Instead, place one foot on the decking to each side of the treadmill belt until the belt is moving slowly, then step onto the belt and adjust the belt speed as necessary.
