Mini-trampolines are a fun, often overlooked, method of exercise. They offer many benefits including light weight, portability for indoor and outdoor usage, a decreased risk of injury and less stress on the joints than regimens such as running, and enhanced cardiovascular, lymphatic and circulatory health.

Size

The size of the mini trampoline makes exercise almost anywhere feasible. You can work out while watching your favorite TV show, or outdoors on a pretty day, and you can take it with you if you travel. Most available models can be easily stored and transported. Some trampolines fold, come with carrying cases and can be placed under your bed or in a closet.

Health Benefits

One of the health benefits of mini trampolines is stimulation of the lymphatic system. The force of gravitation gets the lymph system pumping, helping to remove toxins from your body. Using the mini trampoline also strengthens your heart, improves blood circulation, lowers blood pressure, aids in weight loss and increases metabolism.

Immune System

The rebounding motion is said to stimulate immune cells such as T-lymphocytes and macrophages. According to Healing Daily, they become stronger in response to the G-force during the rebounding action. Such cells consume bad bacteria, viruses and even cancer cells in your body, so it is important they remain active.

Muscles and Joints

Activities like jogging, running and jump roping provide great cardiovascular training, but can take a toll on your muscles and joints. The constant pounding on dirt, concrete or pavement will inevitably cause joint damage. Exercise on a mini trampoline is almost weightless. You can perform the aforementioned activities and get the same health benefits, without hardly any impact.

Risks

There are very few risks involved with exercise on a mini trampoline. Those who are sedentary can begin rebounding for just a few minutes each day until they get in better condition. If you are concerned about balance or stability, you can attach a removable stability bar to the trampoline. The likelihood of injury on a mini-trampoline is almost nonexistent.
