Golf
Miami Beach is home to several golf courses, open year-round, which have a relaxed, friendly environment. The historic Miami Beach Golf Club was opened in 1923 and, until today, remains a premier golf course in the area, featuring nearly 7,000 yards of green with 18 holes and 72 par.

Marathons
Miami Beach is home to several annual marathons that draw locals and out-of-towners alike. The ING Miami Marathon takes place each year in January, and offers a full marathon or mini-marathon option for registered participants.
Arts and Entertainment
Miami Beach has a large, active historic society preserving the antique buildings and facilities. Take a stroll through the Miami Art Deco District, an outdoor area in Miami Beach that features the country's largest architectural collection of Art Deco inspired buildings built between 1923-1943. Many fairs and art events take place in Miami Beach, such as Art Basel, the most illustrious art show in the country.
