Zoo

Park
Spend time at San Jose's Alum Rock Park for an active day packed with activities such as biking, horseback riding and hiking. Located at the foothills of the Diablo Range, this 720-acre park is the first and largest park in San Jose. Perfect for exploring, Alum Rock Park features caves, mineral springs and Eagle Rock. When wandering around the park, do not be surprised if you see some of the native wildlife, including hawks and deer. Pack your lunch because Alum Rock Park is an ideal location for a picnic.
MVP Arena
If you are looking to break a sweat while in San Jose, look no further than the MVP Arena. This indoor sports complex features an indoor soccer field, state-of-the-art batting cages, flag football fields and track and field activities. The arena has a variety of fun activities, including inflatable games. On the weekends, the arena hosts adult soccer training sessions, flag football games and classes for children.
Museum
The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, which is inspired by the Temple of Amon at Karnak, is home to the largest collection of Egyptian artifacts in the Western United States. Spend an afternoon walking around through these exhibits that begin with pre-dynastic times and move through the early Islamic era in Egypt. Visitors will enjoy the numerous mummies and dioramas of ancient Egyptian civilizations. In the museum is a tour of a replicated Egyptian tomb. Outside the museum are perfectly manicured gardens that guests are allowed to walk through.
