Nov, 10 - Lance Armstrong is now 3-for-3 after entering his third cycling competition over the last two weekends, winning the Cat 1 class at the Rocky Hill Roundup in Smithville, Texas on Sunday. Lance averaged 14.5 mph / 23.3 kmh as he faced some of the top mountain bikers in the local area. After dodging an initial pile up at the start, a 3-man break eventually formed with Lance joined by Brian Fawley (Park Place Lexus) and Scott Henry (Trek/VW) solidly away from their chasers. And while Fawley and Henry may have had a slight advantage in the more technical sections, Lance had the motor in the more open parts of the course, attacking just before the third and final lap to get a quick 30 second gap. He would go on to come almost two minutes ahead of Henry to take the win.

"He got in a good, hard race and had a good time," said assistant Dave Bolch. "As is often the case, a lot of people were coming up for autographs and photos afterwards, but he couldn't stay too long as one of his kids is still a bit under the weather. He wanted to get home to be with her and then he has a quick trip to Orlando Monday before coming back to Austin to train this week." Lance has no more races on his schedule till the season begins, but lots of training leading up to team camp on the Spanish island of Tenerife off of the coast of Africa.
