Dare to Track Your Food Daily: Facts and FAQs

Hello everyone! Here is how you participate in the contest, and a few FAQs to help you along.

There are three things you have to do to be eligible:

1. You must join the "Dare to Track Your Food Daily" Dare.
2. You must login to your LIVESTRONG.COM account everyday
3. You must track every meal on your "MyPlate" everyday.


Now for some FAQs

Q: Do I have to track my progress on the "Dare to Track Page"?
A: No. It's great if you are logging into the dare and fill in the field that says, "I just tracked my progress," but you are not required to do that to be eligible for the contest. Just make sure you are logging in everyday and tracking your food on your MyPlate.

Q: The progress box on the dare page doesn't change, and sometimes it loses my info from the previous day. Should I be worried?
A: No. The dare box is a way for you to communicate with the rest of the community members taking the dare with you. It wasn't built specifically for this dare so it won't reflect changes in your tracking. You needn't be worried about it losing your information, as long as you have your food tracked on your MyPlate, you are fine.

Q: If I forget to log some items on MyPlate and fill them in the next day, is that going to disqualify me from the contest?
A: No. You do have to log your meals daily, but if you forget an item or two and add them the next day that is fine. Just make sure you are logging the majority of your meals the day of.

Q: I joined the dare later. Does that mean I won't be qualified for the first drawing? After that, if I don't win the in the first or second drawing will I be considered for the third?
A: Our first drawing will take place March 10th, so if you have tracked for 14 consecutive days any time within those 21 days you will be fine. Also, if you aren't chosen as the winner in our first drawing you will be eligible for the rest of our drawings as well.

Q: Do I need to lose weight to be eligible? Are you choosing the person who loses the most weight?
A: Absolutely not! If you lose weight during the dare and that was your goal then that it fantastic! But we are not judging the drawing based on who lost weight. Winners will be randomly chosen based on their participation in the dare.

Q: How will we know who won?
A: The winners will be announced in the LIVESTRONG.COM Newsletter. If you are not a subscriber, you can change your email notification settings under "My Newsletters" here.
