Most people want to have longer-lasting sex but don't know how to achieve it. The truth is, you can easily slow down and prolong the pleasure of intimate activity for a more fulfilling experience for both you and your partner. Your body and your mind need to work in harmony to achieve this goal.

Kegels

What kegels do is exercise the PC or pubococcygeus muscles, which control your erection and the flow of semen from the penis. The stronger your PC muscles are, the more control you have over them, and thus the greater control you have over your ejaculation. Sometimes it is difficult to find where the PC muscle is because you can't see it. A simple test to determine where the muscle is to try to stop yourself from urinating by squeezing the muscles around the urethra. If you have done it correctly, you will have stopped the flow of urine. You will also feel the muscles around the anus being lightly tightened, which is another sign that you are doing the exercise correctly.
These simple exercises can be performed almost anywhere and involve repeatedly clenching and releasing the muscles for intervals of five seconds. Once it becomes too easy to tighten and hold the muscle for five seconds, you may then increase the intervals to 10 seconds. As with any other exercise in which you are strengthening a muscle, you can continue to work your way up as the muscle gets stronger. Eventually you can hold the muscle for up to 30 seconds at a time. By doing this several times a day, you can gradually build up enough strength in your PC muscles to allow you to delay ejaculation for as long as you want.

Breathing

Breathing techniques are typically practiced as a way to increase stamina during physical exertion, and the same thing goes for sex. Controlling your breathing and maintaining a steady rhythm of breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth can help to regulate your body and allow you to last longer during sex without getting tired or winded. By learning to control your breathing and by breathing deeply during intercourse instead of resorting to the quick shallow breaths that typically occur, you can delay your ejaculation and prolong your sexual experience.

Concentration and Meditation

Practicing meditation can help to clear the mind before sex and can also allow you to rid yourself of stress that can negatively affect your sex life. One of the main causes of premature ejaculation is stress and simply thinking too much about your performance in bed, rather than just enjoying it. Meditation and relaxation, coupled with breathing exercises, allow you to enter a peaceful and calm state of mind where you can enjoy longer-lasting sex. Women can help your man feel more relaxed and stress-free by making him feel calm and confident, diverting his attention away from stress and anxiety-inducing thoughts and away from the performance aspect of sex.
