Cleansers
JASON Swimmer & Sport shampoo does not include harsh cleansers such as sodium lauryl sulfate. Instead gentle cleansers such as PEG-80 sorbitan laurate, decyl polyglucose, cocamido-propyl betaine, cocobetaine, soyamide DEA, avocadamide DEA, and babassuamidopropyl betaine are used. These cleansers will not irritate your skin or eyes and are derived from natural ingredients such as sugar, coconut oil, avocados, soy and babassu oil.
Botanicals
Hawaiian sea kelp and algae nourish hair for superior shine and manageability in JASON Swimmer and Sport Shampoo. Green tea extract clarifies while marigold, chamomile, comfrey and aloe vera extracts smooth and condition hair.
Proteins
Proteins help to rebuild the vital structure of your hair and root for optimal growing and hair health. The shampoo contains 22 keratin amino acids, used for hair strengthening ability. Hydrolyzed wheat protein helps repair damage, builds body, and improves shine, luster and smoothness.
Vitamins
Alpha tocopherol, panthenol, acsorbic acid and biotin are better known as vitamins E, B5, C and B7, respectively. They nourish and enrich your hair for strong, healthy hair growth and radiant strands.
Minerals
Magnesium sulfate and magnesium carbonate give a mineral boost to shampoo that will keep hair light and shiny. The minerals help to condition and prevent damage by providing a thin protective coating on the hair shaft. As a result, the hair's natural color will be highlighted and enhanced.
Lesser Ingredients
Sillica extract is useful for its ability to protect hair from environmental damage. Glycerin is added because it is a humectant, which means it draws moisture to your hair. PEG 150 distearate and polysorbate 60 are emulsifiers and a thickening agents derived from palm oil. They helps to combine ingredients and prevent separation. Methylparaben, propylparaben, and phenoxyethanol are preservatives which are used to prevent the growth of microbes, fungus and bacteria. Benzophenone 3 is added as a sunscreen agent. Citric acid balances the pH of the shampoo and essential oils and fragrances provide it with a pleasing aroma.
