Faneuil Hall Marketplace
This casual and charismatic historic center, also known as Quincy Market, holds shopping, food and entertainment suitable for the whole family. Faneuil Hall has been part of Bostonians' experience for over 250 years, states the Faneuil Hall Marketplace website, with 17 restaurants and pubs, as well as over 40 other dining options on site. Peter Faneuil built the hall in 1742, a venue for passionate speeches over the centuries. Look for the statue of Sam Adams while you enjoy outdoor musicians, juggles and magicians.
Freedom Trail
Experience a true walk through Boston history by walking the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail allows you to experience colonial Boston--the places, people, and events that helped to shape early America. Field trips and costume-guided tours are available to help engage you and your kids in experiencing the American Revolution. Follow the red stripe to landmarks like The Old North Church and Paul Revere's house.
Fenway Park
Fenway Park is home of the Boston Red Sox major league baseball team and the oldest ballpark in the country. Red Sox fans are known for being die-hard fans who faithfully attend games to show support for the home team in an enthusiastic atmosphere. Tickets often sell out. Expect some less than friendly looks if you sport a New York Yankees hat in the stadium.
