The human body comes in contact with various pollutants throughout the day, from processed foods to cigarette smoke. These toxins can impede the natural processes of the body, weakening the immune system and causing susceptibility to colds, the flu, and diseases. There are several natural methods of detoxifying the body, such as drinking herbal teas. The cleansing compounds in herbs are released through hot brewed water and contain no caffeine. According to DetoxifyYourBody.org, herbal teas balance your body, and their mild detoxifiers are easy for the body to process.
