Thinking your husband may be cheating can cause feelings of depression, anxiety, fear and anger. The website Cheating Spouse PI reports that an astounding 85 percent of women who suspect their husbands are cheating are correct. There are many signs that may indicate a husband is guilty of adultery.
Behavioral Changes
The website Cheating Spouse notes particular behavioral changes that may suggest your husband is having an affair. If a partner no longer desires sex or makes excuses to avoid intimacy, this could be concerning. Conversely, if a spouse begins to request kinkier and wilder erotic sexual activities, it could be a sign of infidelity. A philandering husband may also avoid affection and intentionally flirt with or sexually gaze at nearby females.
Extreme behaviors are also indicators of potential infidelity. If a husband is abnormally nice or excessively cruel or sarcastic, you should take notice.
Changes at Work
A cheating husband may change his work schedule and spend more time away on business trips or at the office for no apparent reason. If you contact your husband at work, he may frequently be unavailable to speak and take a long time before returning calls. Furthermore, a cheating husband may discourage you from attending work functions or social events.
Different Telephone Manners
The website Woman's Divorce says a cheating husband's words and mannerisms on the telephone can suggest possible infidelity. If your husband hurriedly answers a phone call and then quickly rushes to talk in another room, that could be an indication.
Additionally, a man having an extramarital affair may whisper on the telephone and abruptly end a conversation the instant you walk into the room. Also take notice if an abnormal amount of calls are received as "wrong numbers," or if they result in hang-ups.
Paper Trails
Woman's Divorce also urges you to monitor bills and receipts if you are uneasy about your husband's faithfulness. ATM receipts from remote locations and purchases for gifts you were never given could be worrisome. After years of allowing you to manage checks and bills, a cheating husband may suddenly decide he wants to oversee his own finances.
