For those who don't find diet and exercise to be sufficient for creating long-lasting weight loss, supplements such as Nutrex Lipo 6 can be an effective option. However, Lipo 6 contains a blend of powerful ingredients that may have harmful side effects. Before using Lipo 6, or any other supplements, consult a medical professional and familiarize yourself with the ingredients.

Stomach Discomfort

One of the key ingredients in Lipo 6 is yohimbine, which is a powerful stimulant. The herbal ingredient can provide energy, but there are several adverse effects associated with yohimbine use. According to research from the journal Annals of Pharmacotherapy, the most common side effect of yohimbine use is stomach discomfort.

Irregular Heart beat

Another adverse effect commonly associated with yohimbine is tachycardia, or irregular heart beat. The Annals of Pharmacotherapy research found that 43 percent of yohimbine-related cases reported to the California Poison Control System involved irregular heart beat.

Anxiety

Caffeine is another main ingredient in Lipo 6. Each serving contains 200mg, which is roughly double the amount found in a cup of coffee. While caffeine can provide energy and stamina, high doses can cause adverse effects. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, anxiety is one of the most common side effects.

Dehydration

Another side effect associated with high doses of caffeine, according to the website Test County, is dehydration. Caffeine has diuretic effects, which means it accelerates the elimination of water from your body. The risk of dehydration is higher if you are exercising in conjunction with caffeine use.
