As you get older, muscles in the face tend to weaken without proper exercise, and this can lead to saggy skin and wrinkles. By exercising the 44 muscles in the facial area, you can achieve a more youthful look within a matter of weeks. There are several websites that offer face lifting exercises, so try various techniques until you find some that work well for you.

Forehead Firming Exercise

To reduce the appearance of wrinkles in the forehead, a simple forehead firming exercise will do the trick. Begin by placing each of your index fingers just above each of your eyebrows. While pulling down on your skin with your fingers, lift your eyebrows as high as possible. Your fingers will provide resistance to the movement, which in turn will strengthen the muscles around the eyes and forehead. The results will be a firmer forehead with fewer wrinkles. This natural face lift exercise can be done as often as you'd like up to three times daily.

Mouth Exercise

If you're looking to lift the areas surrounding your mouth, this is an effective exercise for those purposes. Start by opening your mouth as wide as possible while hiding your teeth behind your lips. Next, purse your lips in an "O" shape, and squeeze your lips tightly; hold for a few moments and then release. Repeat this movement 10 times per set. This mouth lift exercise will firm up the muscles surrounding the mouth, including those in the lips, so it will help to reduce the appearance of saggy cheeks and wrinkles at the corner of the mouth.

Cheek Puff

This simple face lift exercise will help to firm up the muscles of the cheeks. Begin by taking in a deep breath, and then puff out your cheeks while keeping your lips tightly squeezed together; hold for a five count before releasing. Next, do the same thing but for the left cheek; then do the same thing for the right cheek. Repeat this cycle 10 times per set. Make sure to really squeeze the muscles of your cheeks tightly when holding the air inside your cheeks. You will feel the exercise working the muscles beneath the layer of fatty tissue on the sides of your face. After several weeks, your cheeks should become less saggy and be much firmer than before. This exercise can be performed up to three times daily.
