Interval Training
The Mayo Clinic endorses interval training as a way to increase your calorie burning power. This method is used by elite athletes and average exercisers to get in better physical condition fast. It involves alternating periods of high intensity with low intensity. You could walk for three minutes then jog for three minutes and continue this cycle to the end of your workout. Interval training allows you to burn more calories in a shorter time span, burn fat faster and increase your metabolism and aerobic capacity.
