The Black Diamond Awahee is an excellent tent for traveling across climates, according to backcountry.com. The versatility of this ultra-light, four-season tent makes this a great choice for camping everywhere from alpine peaks to desert canyons. Its single-wall, three-pole construction keep the weight down and weather out, and the two full-size wall doors open wide, allowing easy in an out. It's 33 square feet with a 45-inch ceiling and weighs 3 lbs. It retails for $649 as of 2010.
