Tunica, Mississippi, is situated along the Mississippi River, near wetland forests and the Tunica Lake. Golf
Around Tunica are several golf courses for individuals to hit the links. At River Bend golf course, guests will find a par-72 Scottish-links-styled course that features sand, grass bunkers and several lakes. Facilities at River Bend include a practice range and practice greens. At the Links at Cottonwoods Golf Course, golfers will find a course with gently rolling fairways and three lakes. Facilities at Cottonwoods include a 25-tee driving range.
Lake
Tunica Lake is a popular destination for swimmers, boaters and fishermen alike. Tunica Lake is 18 miles long and connects with the Mississippi River. Water sports are popular out on the lake, especially water skiing. In addition to the water activities, around the lake are several paths that feature hikes through local wetlands.The 1.9-mile walking path is suitable for individuals of any age or fitness level.

Tunica is home to the Tunica National, which is a premier tennis facility that has four indoor courts. These courts are championship-level facilities that are climate controlled and feature hydro-grid Hartru clay surfaces. Individuals can sign up to play on the courts or participate in a clinic with a certified pro.
Nature Trail
Spend a few hours walking through the Tunica RiverPark Nature Trail. This 1.9-mile trail winds through wetland forests. This park is dedicated to preserving the local ecosystem, protecting animal habitat and providing visitors a way to enjoy the local wildlife. Here visitors may see a variety of wildlife including turtles, snakes, birds, fox squirrels, deer and beavers. After you're done wandering the trails, head into the 24,000-square-foot museum located at the RiverPark. Here visitors will find exhibits on early local Indian civilizations, local wetlands and the history of the steamboat.
River Tour
Take a cruise on the Tunica Queen for a different way to view the sites and natural wildlife around Tunica. This spacious riverboat seats up to 400 people. There is a 1½ hour sightseeing cruise that takes visitors on the Mississippi River and includes a narration by the captain of all the local sites. While on board the boat, there is food and music. The Tunica Queen also departs for evening sunset dinner cruises.
