The quest for natural products is no longer limited to what we eat or drink. We search for healthy alternatives in every area of our lives, from reusable shopping bags to protect the environment, to natural fabric in clothing to protect our skin. The health benefits of going "all natural" are especially noted when it comes to what we put on our skin. BareMinerals is a cosmetics company that has responded to the desire for all-natural products by producing a makeup line that contains no preservatives or other items that can cause irritation to the skin. One of the most popular items is the bareMinerals Concealer. Since it is not a heavy cream, as most concealers are, there is a trick to putting on the concealer to hide the blemish and keep your skin tone looking natural.
Step 1
Remove the lid from the bareMinerals concealer, and shake a small amount of the powdered concealer into the lid.
Step 2
Dab your bareMinerals concealer brush into the lid with the concealer, and swirl it around until all of the concealer in the lid is on the brush. Tap the edge of the brush lightly against the side of the lid to shake off any excess.
Step 3
Pat the bareMinerals concealer from the brush directly on to the spot you wish to cover. Make sure it is fully covered before blending it in. If you need more concealer, repeat Steps 1 and 2.
Step 4
Blend the bareMinerals concealer by taking the brush and dragging concealer from the blemish, out to the rest of the face. Do this around the entire spot you are covering. Use small, light strokes to blend the concealer in with the rest of the skin. Apply your bareMinerals foundation and other makeup, if desired, after you have applied the concealer.
