Your face is the first thing that people notice when they meet you. When you are stressed, it shows in your face. Over time, stress creates deep-seated lines and wrinkles. The good news is that you don't have to live with stress showing on your face. By exercising the facial muscles, you can improve your blood circulation, diminish stress lines and look younger.

Facial Muscles

You can relax your facial muscles and alleviate stress by performing this exercise. Open your mouth as wide as possible. You will feel the muscles around your mouth and cheeks stretch and tighten. Hold this position for five seconds. Relax your muscles. Perform 12 times.

Forehead

This exercises focuses on softening your forehead wrinkles and can be done in bed. Lie on your back with your legs extended. Place your extended arms at your sides. Hang your head over the side of the bed. Simultaneously raise your eyebrows and open your eyes as far as possible. Relax your muscles and return to the start position. Perform the exercise 12 times.

Eyes

This upper eye exercise lifts the droopy skin directly below the eyebrow. In a seated position, close your eyes. Gently place your index fingers on your lids at the lash-lines. Raise your eyebrows to the fullest degree. Relax your eyes and return to the initial position. Repeat this exercise 12 times.
Exercising the outer eye muscles smoothes the laugh lines that form in the skin surrounding the outer eye. Sit with your head straight and eyes open. Without moving your head, look upward and then look downward. Repeat 12 times.

Cheeks

This exercise raises those saggy cheeks. In a seated position, bend your head backwards and rest it on your back. Place your middle three fingers on your cheeks. Concurrently, pull your cheeks downward and smile, raising your cheeks as high as possible. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Relax your muscles and return to the start position. Execute 12 times.

Lips

This exercise plumps your lips and softens the lines around your mouth. Place your index finger in your mouth and close your lips around the finger. Create suction on your finger as you slowly and deliberately pull it from your mouth. Relax the muscles and repeat the exercise 12 times.
