According to the Mayo Clinic, the most frequent causes of acne are hormonal changes, overproduction of the sebaceous glands, excess bacteria built up under and on the surface of the skin and irregular shedding of dead skin cells resulting in irritation. While acne is common in different stages of life, most commonly adolescence, it can be embarrassing for many people. However, there are natural remedies that can help you get rid of jaw line acne. Supporters of these natural treatments claim that they work, but consult your doctor before using any of these treatments, because they have not been approved by the FDA.

Carrot Oil, Fennel Essential Oil and Rosemary Essential Oil

According to Ann Worwood, author of "The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy," a mixture of carrot oil, fennel essential oil and rosemary essential can help you get rid of acne on the skin. To use carrot oil, fennel essential oil and rosemary essential oil for acne, combine one part fennel essential oil, one part rosemary essential oil and 20 parts carrot oil in a small container with a tight-fitting lid. With a clean cotton ball or pad, dab a small amount of the mixture onto the affected area and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse your skin with cool water and pat dry with a clean towel. There is no need to wash your skin with soap unless the mixture irritates your skin. This mixture can be used daily and unused portions of the mixture for approximately 30 days as long as you stir or shake the mixture before each use.

Lemon Juice, White Sugar and Sage Essential Oil

According to Melanie A. Sachs, author of "Ayurvedic Beauty Care," a mixture of lemon juice, white sugar and sage essential oil can be combined to make a powerful acne-fighting scrub. To use lemon juice, white sugar and sage essential oil, combine 6 tbsp. lemon juice, 1 tbsp. white sugar and 1/2 tbsp. sage essential oil in a small container with a tight-fitting lid. Gently massage a small amount of the mixture onto the affected area and leave it on for approximately 30 minutes. Rinse the skin with cool water, and wash the skin with a gentle cleanser to remove the sugars from the lemon juice. Apply your regular moisturizer if you use one. This treatment can be used daily as long as it does not irritate your skin, and unused portions can be stored in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Aloe Vera, Cucumber and Lime Juice

According to Vasant Lad, author of "The Complete Book of Ayurvedic Home Remedies," natural aloe vera, cucumber and lime juice can be applied to acne-prone skin to help fight acne. To use aloe vera, cucumber and lime juice, combine 2 tbsp. aloe vera gel, 1/4 peeled, chopped cucumber and 2 tbsp. lime juice in a blender or food processor. Process on high speed until a moderately thin paste is formed. Apply a thick layer of the paste to the affected area and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing the skin with cool water. Wash with a gentle cleanser and apply your regular moisturizer. This treatment can be used several times per day as long as it does not irritate your skin. Unused portions of this mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for approximately three days.
