The stroller has come a long way since its creation in 1733. William Kent, the garden architect for the Duke of Devonshire, created the first stroller in England. The design had springs and used goat power to pull the buggy. The first reversible stroller came along in 1889, followed by more fashionable and affordable models during the middle of the 20th century. In 1965, the folding stroller emerged. Later, Phil Baechler replaced the wheels on his stroller with bicycle tires, so he could run with his son, creating the baby jogger.
