Motorcycle Camping in Oregon

The state of Oregon provides so many different terrains from the mountains to the desert to the ocean. You can see so much of this scenery when traveling by motorcycle. Motorcycle-friendly campgrounds are located throughout the state from the coast near Florence to the mountains near Bend. The campgrounds offer accommodations for the motorcycle traveler like tent campsites, cabins and showers.

Log House RV Park & Campground

Log House RV Park & Campground is located in Enterprise, Oregon. The proprietors of the campground are motorcycle riders themselves and go out of their way to make their campground motorcycle friendly. They offer free soap and towel for showering to all motorcycle campers. The campground offers tent sites with picnic tables and fire pits. Laundry facilities are also available. Tent camping rates range from $11 to $16 per night.

Sparkplugs Motorcycle Camp

Sparkplugs Motorcycle Camp is located off of Redwood Highway in O’Brien, Oregon. The campground caters to motorcycle riders. There are 50 campsites available on the 15-acre campground. You can bring your own tent or rent one of their tepee style tents. Restrooms are located in the campground along with laundry facilities and showers.

Browns Camp

Browns Camp is located in the Tillamook Forest area of northwestern Oregon. There are over 50 miles of motorcycle and off-road trails located near the camp. You can pitch your tent in one of the 29 campsites located in the campground. The campsites are equipped with picnic tables and fire pits. Restrooms and drinking water are available at the campsite. Nightly fees are $10 and the campground runs on a first come, first serve basis.

Sisters Bend/KOA

The KOA campground located in the Sisters and Bend, Oregon areas offers Kamping Kabins good for motorcycle camping. With its location near Crater Lake State Park, this campground is a great place to stop and stay the night. The campground is open year-round. A store is located on the campground along with free wireless Internet, a swimming pool and firewood for purchase. Rates range per the season; you need to contact the campground for specific rates and availability.

Jesse M. Honeyman Memorial State Park

The Jesse M. Honeyman Memorial State Park is located just three miles south of Florence, Oregon along the Oregon Coast. There are sand dunes between the park and the ocean and two lakes, Lake Cleawox and Lake Woahink, inside the park good if you want to swim. The campground is open all year long; you will need reservations during the winter holidays. There are 187 tent campsites located within the park, with paved parking. You can use the showers located in the campground and there are restrooms. Firewood is available to purchase. Camping rates may change; you need to contact the campground for current rates and availability.
