How to Give a Sensual Body Massage

A sensual body massage can be given to a partner to relieve stress or celebrate an evening, anniversary or birthday. Taking some time away from the computer, television and work-related duties is often necessary and can help a couple share special moments that will solidify the relationship.

Step 1

Pay attention to the atmosphere. Lighting candles, turning off the television and turning on some sensual music can create a relaxed environment that is conducive to relaxation and romance.

Step 2

Remove the shirt, shoes, pants and socks of the individual receiving the massage and find an adequate place to perform the massage. The space should be comfortable and not distracting.

Step 3

Pour some massage oil on your hands and rub them together well, lubricating your fingers to allow for smooth skin contact. It may be better to apply the oil only to your hands, and not the back, feet, or other areas of the individual's body, as too much oil will make massaging difficult and slippery.

Step 4

Apply light pressure to the back and shoulders of the individual, using you thumbs and finger tips to slowly knead the skin. Apply less pressure around the neck and shoulder areas, as these areas may be more tender to the touch.

Step 5

Work in a circular motion from the top of the back and neck toward the lower back and buttocks. Apply more oil to your hands as needed and continue the massage for several minutes, working down the legs and to the feet. Massage the soles of the feet with your thumbs, applying light pressure in a circular motion.
