A little scalp itch here. Some white flakes there. There is no known cause for dandruff but if you have it it can be a real pain. And for some it seems like a never-ending problem. But a dry, flaky scalp isn't something you have to live with. In fact, there are a lot ways you can get rid of dandruff.
Step 1
Buy a dandruff shampoo. You see them everywhere when you go to the store. Even the most obscure brands seem to have a type of dandruff shampoo. That should indicate that this is a problem. Experts recommend trying a brand for at least a week. If it doesn't do the trick, don't get discouraged. Simply try another brand.
Step 2
Supplement your shampoo with a supplement. According to a recently published article on dandruff at vitawise.com, natural healing agents like vitamin B6, vitamin B complex, kelp tablets and primrose oil can be very beneficial in combating the dandruff scourge. If considering a supplement-enriched cure, make sure you consult your physician.
Step 3
Quarter up four limes. Boil them in a pan with 5 cups of water and a teaspoon of dill weed. Let the mixture cool so you don't burn your scalp and then wash your hair with the mixture. Repeat the process in two weeks. Do this in conjunction with the dandruff shampoo and supplements.
