How to Detox Your Body Quickly

People use many different methods to get toxins out of their bodies. From simple water to cleansers, detoxifying the body is something that should be done on a regular basis to keep you healthy, give you more energy and make you more alert.

Step 1

Fasting is a vital component of the detoxification process. Because everything you put in your body contains one form of toxin or another, the best way to ensure that your liver and kidneys are able to expel toxins going in is not to make new ones.

Step 2

Drink lots of water. Water is the natural way to flush out your system. By putting your kidneys into overdrive to deal with all the water you are ingesting, you are also inviting them to flush more toxins from your system.

Step 3

Add some lemon. Lemon works with water to add additional cleansing power to your fast. You are now flushing your system with lemon water. That lemon is going through your organs, killing off additional bacteria, germs and other toxins that a straight water flush cannot.

Step 4

Detoxify with juice. This takes a new spin on traditional water or water with lemon cleansing in that the juice gives an added nutrient boost to your immune system, allowing it to work harder and expel more toxins than normal.
