How to Cleanse with a Liquid Diet

Body toxins build up over time. The germs and bacteria we put into our bodies need to be cleansed for us to feel well and get more out of life. Using liquids as a way to cleanse the body and wash out the unwanted toxins is necessary and will allow us to feel better, more energetic and more alert.

Step 1

Take time off from solid foods. The best way to cleanse out toxins is not to put any more in. Fasting will eliminate the potentially hazardous toxins that go in to our bodies through cooked foods.

Step 2

Drink lots of water (more than a gallon a day). Water is a natural cleanser and it works to activate the kidneys. Since the kidneys are the body's main source of cleaning, water helps flush toxins to them and, from there, the kidneys do their job to remove toxins.

Step 3

Add lemon to your water. A slice of lemon in each glass of water will give the water you take in the ability to remove toxins at an even faster rate. Lemon helps to kill germs and bacteria from your organs that water would not be able to take care of on its own.

Step 4

Drink plenty of juice. Not only is juice loaded with vitamins and minerals, but also it contains enzymes that help to supercharge your body's immune system. The immune system is the specialist for fight germs and bacteria that we come in contact with, so the more juice you ingest, the harder the immune system will work to clean out the toxins.
