Lake George Horse Trail System
The Lake George Horse Trail System was purchased from a private owner at the beginning of the 20th century, and the state of New York now owns it. Horseback riders on this trail system are invited to camp overnight in the lean-tos provided for that purpose along the trail. Single-lane trails and side-by-side trails on the loops are available.
